Our team of pilots and mechanics supports the various ministries of ITM by providing transportation in areas of Bolivia where traveling by land and river can be dangerous and time-consuming.

Tony and joanna murrin

Tony and Joanna serve on field leadership in Bolivia. Tony is the Field Director and co-founder of ITM. He also serves on the aviation team as a pilot–mechanic. Joanna is involved in several discipleship ministries with women and coordinates the weekly ladies’ Bible study and the mission prayer gathering.

LUIS AND LORENA CASTELLON

Luis and Lorena, who are from the highland city of La Paz, serve in several ministry areas. Luis is an aviation mechanic and part of the aviation team. He also leads a weekly Bible study for young men at the hangar and serves as the mission’s IT specialist. Lorena is involved in several administrative areas. She oversees the training course and manages the finances for the foundation.

Together, Luis and Lorena also oversee the mission home in Cochabamba, where they receive and care for many visitors, both national and international, as well as Indigenous patients who come for assistance.

ISAAC MATTIX

Isaac Mattix is a young single missionary who was born in Bolivia and grew up in the lowland town of Camiri in southern Bolivia. He will be serving as a pilot–mechanic, supporting the aviation ministry. Isaac is currently in the United States and plans to return to Bolivia at the end of the year to begin his ministry.

Rick and Becca Bartmas

Rick and Becca, along with their three children who hail from Texas, serve in the ministry areas of aviation and medicine. Rick is a pilot–mechanic and is also involved in several discipleship ministries with men. Becca is a nurse practitioner who provides medical care for indigenous patients who travel from the jungle to receive treatment here in Cochabamba. She also offers medical assistance by phone, as many Indigenous people call her for medical advice and guidance.

joRGE and BEATRIZ RIVAS

Jorge and Beatrice (Bea) are the newest members of ITM who have arrived to Bolivia from the USA. Jorge is serving on the aviation team as an avionics specialist, and Bea is serving in various administrative areas. Together, they are also involved in member care, visiting the different Indigenous ministry locations, spending time encouraging, and supporting the missionaries serving there.
