Jakeline Huerta

Jakeline, known as Jaky, demonstrates her love for people through her intense care for their health. Her heart is for the indigenous peoples of Bolivia who do not have access to proper medical care. She flies in and out of the jungle to attend to medical needs and goes on medical trips to provide basic care. She is also on call for the health concerns of all the missionaries on the team. She accompanies her patients in the city to their doctors appointments. Her honest demeanor and infectious laugh puts patients at ease. She is beloved by the short-term teams from the States she travels with, attending their health needs and translating.
